Long story
short; My initial goal was set to high, I got overwhelmed, lost interest and
abandoned the project (like I often do), but now I’m back =)
So here’s
the progress so far:
My initial
goal was to have the dungeon painted with several different colour stones but
due to time constraints and pressure from my gaming club I have had to abandon that
idea for now and instead go for a more traditional look.
The base is
dark grey, followed by a heavy drybrush of bone white, then I have gone in with
a light wash in some areas and finally I have stippled the pieces with a mushy
green colour to break up the uniformity and tone down the starkness of the
white.
Of course
there will be a lot of detail added to this down the line and I might even
revisit the idea of multi coloured stone work, but for now my goal is to get a
smaller test setup complete for play testing by the end of March.
Wish me
luck =)
